These are dishcloths that I’m going to gift to my sister Keri for her birthday on Sept. 7th. I need to finish the last one that’s in progress soon!

Should mention that these are done in Sugar N’ Cream yarn. I love that yarn even though it’s cotton and not flexible. It looks really nice knit up and comes in great colors. And it’s so good for my limited budget!!

Two of the patterns are from this page.

Crystal Palace Cotton Chenille

This is a washcloth done with Crystal Palace Cotton Chenille. This yarn costs $7.50 a skein! The washcloth is super soft and nice though… I already gave two away and they were much appreciated.

Note: This yarn definitely shrinks in the dryer. So sad—it’s expensive enough to begin with…and then you really get even less of it!

The free pattern is here.

Lion Brand Hat and Scarf

My first hat and scarf set with Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick N Quick. The hat is too big and the scarf is too short, but I like it for its goofiness anyway.

Edit 11/06/05: I gave this scarf and hat to away to be donated to victims of domestic violence this Christmas. I hope someone will enjoy it.
