Another sublime stitching pattern. I found out that embroidering on waffle weave is not the easiest, but perservered anyway.

These items are for the second knit/sew/crochet swap I participated in at craftster.org. There is a winter headband, a summer headband, and some kitty dim sum (an egg roll and a wonton) stuffed with catnip.

This one is for my cousin, Cassie, who also just graduated from high school.

I made this baby blanket for baby Will who has a star-themed bedroom. This was my first crochet project, but it was pretty easy. It’s not perfect, but I still like how it turned out.

I used Jenny Hart’s Sublime Stitching ‘Stitch it Kit’ templates to make this pillowcase that says ‘Dreaming in Spanish’ for one of my students who is graduating and going off to college. I found the motifs by searching for ancient Mexican motifs and just free hand drew them and transferred them onto the pillowcase before stitching them up.
