I made this kitchen towel and handkerchief for an embroidery swap. The patterns were free at needlecrafter.com

This pattern is from ‘The Happy Hooker’. It’s my second crochet project–mostly done while flying on an airplane to Korea. I just lined it and added the ribbon today though.

I made these while in Korea from little kits that I found for $4 a piece that came with the floss, a needle, a keychain and fabric to stitch on. The first pic shows the front side and the next the backs of all of the keychains. It was great to have these to make while I was waiting for Seung-ho to finish a game of billiards or come back from an errand.

These are the items I made and sent for the Asian cultures swap. I cross-stitched a Korean bride and groom (the keychain) and made a little crocheted credit card holder with yarn I bought in Korea. The rest of the items were purchased at a Korean stationery store.

Another sublime stitching pattern. I found out that embroidering on waffle weave is not the easiest, but perservered anyway.

These items are for the second knit/sew/crochet swap I participated in at craftster.org. There is a winter headband, a summer headband, and some kitty dim sum (an egg roll and a wonton) stuffed with catnip.

This one is for my cousin, Cassie, who also just graduated from high school.

I made this baby blanket for baby Will who has a star-themed bedroom. This was my first crochet project, but it was pretty easy. It’s not perfect, but I still like how it turned out.
